Drawing from the Thrive Bridge Collective, Courtney shares how five Bay Area teacher teams, across elementary and secondary, district and charter schools, redesigned how they collaborate, without blowing up their schedules or systems.
From co-teaching AP English and US History at Summit Prep to embedding resource and speech services directly into phonics blocks at New School San Francisco, each team built something different. What connected them was a shared orientation: start with what students need, then rethink how the team works together to meet it.
It’s a grounding, practical read for any educator or school leader thinking about what collaboration could look like if we empowered teachers to redesign their roles to increase educator well-being and student outcomes.
